Dr. Roller Mesodermal micro-needle therapy – an alternative to the classic mesotherapy

This is a unique method of recovery of the normal tonus and of regeneration of the skin, which was developed in the Far East. The micro-needles (192 in one roller) are made of special strengthened steel with perfect practical sharpening.

The length of the needles varies between 0.25 and 2.5 mm, depending on the type of treatment.

 

Rolling the derma-roller along the preliminary prepared area of the body or face (to which we have already applied the necessary cosmetic or therapeutic medical cocktail), we cause numerous micro pricks to the mesodermal layer of the skin where we introduce the medical cocktail.

 

The needles are perfectly sharpened, but there is virtually no visible bleeding after the injection; also, despite the numerous micro pricks - more than 1000 each time the roller is moved in one direction - there is virtually no sharp pain as is the case with traditional mesotherapy using a syringe and a needle, where every injection has to be introduced with a needle.

The method we offer for the introduction of medications in the dermis and epidermis is significantly less painful, and it avoids problems such as fear of needles.

 

There are different levels of functioning of the derma-roller:

1.  

   1. If we have to insure the delivery of a cosmetic cream or product, it is sufficient to use needles 0.25 or 0.5 mm, penetrating the stratum corneum.

   2. If we need to achieve speedy skin renovation, we have to influence the production of keratin, which means that we have to get to the base layer - 1 mm

   3. When fighting wrinkles or skin sagging we have to influence the dermis in order to activate the production of collagen and elastin; for that purpose we have to pass through the base membrane into the dermis to the level of the papillary layer. The procedure is similar in scar reduction, without the keloids - 1.5 mm.

When fighting scars, one can use derma rollers with needles of 0.5 to 1.5 mm, depending on where the scar is located, but not more than 1.5 mm. When used at home, bigger needles can accidentally damage larger blood vessels, so the use of rollers with needles longer than 1.5 mm is not recommendable. Rollers from 2 to 2.5 mm are to be used only by specialists.

The major unquestionable advantages of the mesodermal needle therapy include:

   • it is an entirely natural process

   • the introduced products become more effective, as well as the treatment process

   • when a cocktail combining vitamins A and C is used, the diameter of pricking in the epidermis is reduced, as well as the number of cuts and slits, which makes the procedure less painful

   • the treatment process includes virtually every part of the skin: body, face, neck, arms and hands, legs and feet, stomach, and back. The used cocktails are for face treatment, for cellulite treatment, etc.

   • iontophoresis and sonophoresis are enhanced - methods of introduction of charged particles of medicinal substances through the skin, or by ultrasound
